Campus Construction Updates

A Visit from the Perlmans

This week, the Perlmans stopped by to survey the progress. Things are moving at a lightning fast pace! With the site of the new Campus Center now carved out of the ground, it’s resembling something like an archaeological excavation. In the southern parcel, the foundations and framework for two new faculty cabins are already in place.

Measuring around 6,000 sq ft, the footprint of this new building is slightly smaller than the old Dining Hall, but with two additional floors and a thoughtful, purpose-driven design, it will provide students, faculty, and staff with much more usable space.

Toby gives it a “thumbs up”!

The view from Shore Road—An increased setback will provide more open space between the Campus Center and the road.
