The Renaissance String Quartet, hailing from New York City, was founded in 2021 by violinists Randall Goosby and Jeremiah Blacklow, violist Jameel Martin, and cellist Daniel Hass.

The four members first met in 2012, while studying together at the Perlman Music Program.

The Stires-Stark Alumni Recital Series features graduates of The Perlman Music Program, many of whom now hold leadership positions among renowned orchestras, chamber music groups, and faculties.
