In 2006, The Perlman Music Program embarked on a $30,000,000 endowment-building campaign to permanently secure its financial resources. Entrepreneur James H. Clark, inspired by Toby and Itzhak Perlman’s devotion to training and supporting the next generation of classical music leaders, established the Endowment Fund with FOUR separate $1 million gifts.
Gifts made to the Endowment Fund leave a lasting legacy of cultural support and will have a great impact on the lives of PMP’s young musicians. Contributions to the Endowment Fund provide a strong foundation that supports all of the artistic and educational activities of The Perlman Music Program.
Specifically, the income from the endowment fund provides a consistent flow of dollars to help underwrite all types of operating expenses: student financial aid, faculty support, artistic and academic programs, facilities, and more.
Additionally, the Endowment Fund will enable the board to continue to build the capacity of the Program, launch new programmatic initiatives, provide an institutional safety net, and will be the bedrock of security for the organization.
PMP’s Legacy Society honors forward-thinking leaders who invest in our bright future by contributing to the Endowment Fund.
