Kristy and Jim Clark and Emilia Fanjul co-chaired an intimate evening of chamber music, cocktails and a dinner in honor of Toby and Itzhak Perlman and The Perlman Music Program on February 27, 2010.
“This wonderful evening would not be possible without Kristy and Jim Clark’s generous hospitality, dedication, and belief in the Program and its mission.”
Mr. and Mrs. Clark opened up their elegant South Ocean Boulevard home to The Perlman Music Program’s friends and family. Guests were invited to join Mr. and Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Fanjul for cocktails on the Clark’s lush garden patio, followed by a chamber music performance by the Program’s extraordinarily talented young artists. Afterward, guests enjoyed dinner and conversation with Toby and Itzhak Perlman and the wonderfully gifted students. It was an extremely memorable evening for everyone involved.
For the past three years, Mr. Clark has generously hosted this event to raise awareness of The Perlman Music Program’s Endowment Fund. This wonderful evening would not be possible without the Clarks’ generous hospitality, dedication, and belief in the Program and its mission. “After attending one of [The Perlman Music Program’s] camps at Shelter Island for a free evening concert, I was struck by the extraordinary talent of these students and by Itzhak and Toby’s devotion to helping these children develop their feel and sensitivity for the nature of classical music. I decided then to financially support PMP…” says Mr. Clark.
Mr. Clark has been a loyal and generous supporter of PMP for the past four years, and has provided crucial support to the Endowment. The Clarks have provided PMP with four individual gifts of $1 million. These annual gifts have become the backbone of our Endowment Fund. The Perlman Music Program is honored to have such loyal and generous supporters such as the Clarks and Fanjuls.
