Alec Galambos started playing the piano at 8, starting singing soon after, and began composing while pursuing a B.A. at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He has since written for orchestra, chamber ensembles, SATB choir, string quartet, voice, piano, and electronics, and has created, performed, and recorded over thirty vocal arrangements.
Alec has served as a music director and conductor for vocal ensembes and music theater productions, and has enjoyed opportunities to teach music theory, ear training, piano, and music theater. He is also a fledgling virtuoso of the baby accordion.
Alec holds a Master of Music degree in Music Composition and Film Scoring from NYU and loves living, working, and performing in New York City. More information can be found at Alec’s website.
