D. Edward Davis is a composer and sound artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. His music has been performed both in the USA and internationally by a wide variety of performers. He has forged a long-standing relationship with the New York Miniaturist Ensemble, for whom he has composed over twenty works.
Davis holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and a Master’s degree from Brooklyn College, where he studied composition with Amnon Wolman and David Grubbs. More information is available at http://sound.warmsilence.org.
